Drop Off
The Full Story
Glass Drop Off is located at 4342 W Homosassa Trail, Lecanto, FL 34461
(across the street from St. John Paul II Catholic School)
Bins are available during daylight hours 7 days a week.

A few notes about dropping glass at this location:
-
PLEASE clean your glass! I currently do not have the equipment to clean and sanitize each bottle. I will be forced to throw away your glass if it has food particles or is heavily soiled (those candle jars are wonderful, but only if the wax is removed)
-
DO NOT THROW your glass into the bins. Broken glass is not easy to handle.
-
If the bins are full, please do not leave loose bottles on the ground. Please box your glass or come back at a later time.
-
There are times (usually due to weather or machinery being maintained) when the bins are not out. I understand that it can be inconvenient, but please come back when the bins are available. I do try and announce drop off disruptions on social media. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram
-
NO TRASH or other recyclable materials will be accepted
Why is there a donation box (or drop off fee recommendation)?
-
I have not been able to fund this project through loans, grants or government funding. It is all out of pocket. All of the equipment, maintenance, power, insurance, taxes, this website, phone, internet, etc. come at a cost.
-
I would love to offer this service and the end product for free. At this time, that is not possible. The more community support I receive, the closer we will be to reaching that goal.
-
There is a donation box at the drop off site. The recommendation is $5. However, any amount is welcome and appreciated.
I have a glass top table or mirror. Can I drop it off?
-
Yes and No
-
I do have limited space to accept tabletops and mirrors.
-
Although they will not fit in my machine, I can use them for other projects or will do my best to find your piece a good home that is not in the landfill
